  • Q: HOW LONG AFTER MY ORDER IS PLACED WILL I RECEIVE MY HAKTRAP DEVICE?

    A: The unit ships out next day, and usually takes between 3 – 5 business days to arrive.

  • Q: IS THE HAKTRAP DEVICE EASY TO INSTALL?

    A: Absolutely. The installation takes less than five minutes, and is very straightforward. Full color instructions come with the device along with color coded cables. Additionally, free live installation support is available by calling our support 800 number.

  • Q: I WANT TO BE ABLE TO SEE HOW THE DEVICE IS WORKING? HOW DO I SEE WHAT PROTECTION IS BEING PROVIDED?

    A: The first way is to log into the customer portal using your established login id and password. Once in the portal, you can look at your real time reporting, and save them off to your computer as well. The second way is that every month, we send you a detailed protection report showing you all of the different attempts and attacks that have occurred during the past month. You can see an example of the report here.

  • Q: I HAVE A FIREWALL AND ANTIVIRUS ON MY PC, ISN’T THAT ENOUGH PROTECTION?

    A: Those types of utilities are great protection for your pc, but only your pc. The devices that are being introduced into our Smart Homes are all part of the Internet of Things (IoT) and have their own connections out to the Internet, creating vulnerabilities these other utilities cannot detect, prevent or protect.
